We tend to meet once a week on an informal basis with the nights
we meet on varying in order to accomodate as many people as possible
as many have other commitments than SSAGS alone.
There are the usual events such as pub quiz, bowling, pool night
and climbing throughout the year along with the regular events on
the SSAGS calendar. Regular events include freshers camp, Christmas
meal, winter camp and end of term BBQ with more being added as flashes
of inspiration strike the exec.
 As part of the national Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO)
we also attend the national Rallies which are organised by the various
clubs across the UK. Rally is held in the Autumn, Spring and Summer
terms and always prove to be a great weekend albeit slightly tiring
on occassions.
 We are also able to give our members the chance to maintain their
links with Scouting and Guiding through our extensive contacts within
the area and helping throughout the sections.
